Buddy is the foundation stud of the OhMy Cattery. His sire, Ocielot was bought from Anita Lawless of El Reno Oklahoma, a charcoal spotted typey male. His dam was an old line with very close line breeding from Gogee's and Lionsmountain. Mon Cher was purchased from an exotic pet breeder in Stillwater Oklahoma. She was a soft brown spotted coloring with green/blue eyes. Ocielot has passed away. Mon Cher is in a pet home. Buddy was from the second litter and was the first OhMy kitten kept for our breeding program. He was the first snow shown in this part of the country. Buddy Love gives us soundness of body, temperament and health. His personality mark on most of the kittens who leave here is affectionately known as the "Buddy Baby".

Buddy has RETIRED from therapy work in Nursing Homes, but continues to represent the Bengal Breed at The Festival of the Pet. 2002, he finaled in an On Safari ring, and was awarded Best Alter in SC Region. He continues to raise young Bengals at OhMy, teaching them to emulate his wise and gentle ways. He is ours forever.

Buddy is featured in the Second Edition of "Legacy of the Cat" by Gloria Stephens and Tetsu. At age 8 he was Screened for HCM and was Perfect!! (8/04 by Jack Johnson)
